Many of the shows, initially viewed with skepticism by network flacks, became wildly successful, lasting much longer than TWIN PEAKS. Each chapter incorporates history, particularly the beginnings of the religions, and the fundamental belief structures. Only complaint is the story line. My favorites are Stones inna Swamp, Brockhall Badger Carrot Cakes, and Spiced Gatehouse Tea Bread.

Ballantyne's books and this one rates as one of his better books. I have now sent a new complaint by email to Amazon, but hold out little hope. Yes it's a theological exploration, but it's also a memoir, and even a long, jazzy, monkish prayer. And, throughout the book, glossy pages, there are blocks of text, white font lettering on light blue background. If you're a fan of either, I think you'll find this to be an enjoyable read. It tells you such great ideas as, "electronic research is most likely to be effective under the following circumstances: 1) When the material you need is not available in print. This book is filled with examples of how this paradigm if being implemented in myriad disciplines.
